2011 Nanjing Conference on Metric Geometry and Applications

In Memory of Professor Jianguo Cao

Description

The initial objective of this conference is to provide an opportunity for the mathematicians working in various directions of metric differential geometry to interact and exchange most up-to-date researches, and to share ideas toward prospering future work.

The conference was proposed by Professor Jianguo Cao, who has tragically passed away on June 23, 2011. The conference will be a memorial to him. 

The conference is organized by the Department of Mathematics and the Institute of Mathematical Science at Nanjing University.

Hotel: Nanjing Purple Palace (南京紫金山庄). Distance to Nanjing Lukou Airport is about 40km, distance to Nanjing Railway Station is about 10km, distance to Nanjing South Railway Station is about 19km. We will arrange shuttle bus between the hotel and campus during the conference.

Conference Location: Room 1105, 11th floor, Meng Min Wei Building (蒙民伟楼), Institute of Mathematical Science(IMS), Nanjing University.
Note: Location may be changed due to electricity power examination scheduled on July 28.
Map: Partial Map of Campus The Hankou Road splits our campus into two parts, Math Dept and IMS are located at the north part.
