Research

 

 Numerical analysis on the stabilized finite element methods for time-dependent partial differential problems, such as the conservation laws and the convection-dominated diffusion equations, and so on.

 Current interesting includes the (local) discontinuous Galerkin methods and the streamline diffusion finite element methods.

 

 Numerical simulations for

        1.  Convection-dominated diffusion problems,    

        2.  Degenerated parabolic problems, and 

        3.  Applications in fluid dynamics.
