 Numerical analysis on the stabilized finite element methods for time-dependent partial differential problems, such as the hyperbolic conservation laws and the convection-dominated diffusion equations, and so on. Current interesting methods are

        1. the discontinuous Galerkin finite element methods and

        2. the streamline diffusion finite element methods.


 Numerical simulations for

        1. Convection-dominated diffusion problems,    

        2. Degenerated parabolic problems,

        3. Sobolev-type equations, and 

        4. Applications in fluid dynamics.
